Homeschool Physical Education is held at the Kim Geist Academy. Homeschool Physical Education aims to get participants engaged with old or new friends and physical activity through entertaining classes – designed just for homeschoolers during the afternoons. The classes are for ages ~9 and up. Please contact us if you are uncertain if the program is the best fit for you.

– Strength/fitness training – Using body weight and weights appropriate to age. All equipment is provided.

DATES & TIME: Classes run Mondays and Thursdays, December 4 – March 26 from 1:00-2:00pm. Each day of the week is able to be registered for separately or together.

*no class Christmas Day and New Year’s Day* Class cancellations may be made for inclement, dangerous travel weather or instructor unavailability. One make-up day will be offered on March 30 or April 2, if there is a cancellation.

BOOKING & PAYMENT: Pre-payment is required. After initial registration on this page, you will receive an email with payment instructions. Payment must be received to reserve your spot – first come, first serve.

Pricing for a trial class is $9.00 (this option will open 1 week prior to the start of the program, if availability remains). If joining after a trial class, payment for the remainder of the season will be pro-rated.

ARRIVAL & EQUIPMENT: Please arrive early enough to be ready to begin by the start time. Park in the parking lot across from the building, on Gap Rd. – please no parking on the building side. Bring a water bottle. A water fountain is available to refill. Wear a pair of sturdy sneakers, and dress to move. Private restrooms/changing rooms are available. To keep our facility floors clean from damaging winter salt, bring a clean pair of shoes to change into, separate from your outdoor shoes.
