The location for the Finesse & Fury by Kim Geist Coaching program was chosen due to its proximity to the most storied and active track cycling community in the country. The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is the only velodrome in the country that offers easy access to training resources and regular racing up to the international level. The area additionally offers a wealth of road cycling options including a large community of training rides and races. It is also within driving distance of three 250m velodromes. We view the fact that Pennsylvania experiences all four seasons as a plus as well, since it regularly produces champions built from strong will and character. And it is also simply our home, and we love it.
The Kim Geist Academy is the physical home of Finesse & Fury. It is conveniently located in the picturesque mountain landscape of the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, with immediately accessible prime roads for road cycling. It is only 6.5 miles from the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, “The Bicycle Racing Capital of the World”, and the Bob Rodale Cycling and Fitness Park, which includes a closed criterium course. It is also located only 0.5 miles from Bear Creek Mountain Resort, which offers year-round outdoor adventure activities, which truly demonstrates the beautiful outdoor and fitness-conscious setting of the area.
