1Use of a power meter or heart rate monitor is not required for the program, but use of at least a heart rate monitor is strongly recommended.
2Physiological testing is available to athletes local or willing to travel to the Allentown, PA area, it is deemed as a benefit by the coach and athlete, and the athlete meets university criteria for testing. Testing is dependent on a university schedule.
3Personal sessions and event coaching is available at the convenience of the coach to athletes local or willing to travel to the Allentown, PA area and is but is not a standard part of the cycling coaching program. Contact the coach for more information.

The cycling coaching program is for cyclists of various disciplines, recreational to competitive, looking to improve cycling fitness and/or abilities. 


Following these basic principles, the cycling coaching program features unlimited communication between athlete and coach. Communication between athlete and coach is important to ensure the important flow of feedback in both directions - athlete to coach for improved understanding of responses to training for the design of the most effective program and from coach to athlete for improved understanding of training and competition directives and principles. Unlimited communication is included as a standard because everyone is deserving of access to his or her coach no matter how advanced an athlete is or is training to be.
