This past weekend Kim Geist Coaching athlete Hans Petter Engelstad placed on the master's podium at the Norwegian National Road Championships in the time trial, placing second by only 0.2 of a second after 1.5 hours of double-checking timing equipment by the officials of the event!

 

As a marked man, Petter was able to also finish a solid 5th in the road race event at the national championships.

 

This past week the USA Junior National Track Cycling Championships were hosted at the Superdrome in Frisco, TX.  Kim Geist Coaching athlete Bailey Semian came out with podium finishes in each event contested in the women 15-16 omnium:

 

3rd - Scratch Race

3rd - Match Sprint

4th - 500m TT

5th - Points Race

 

 

Also this past weekend, Victoria Gates came out on top with a win in the junior women's race at the Windham World Cup mountain bike race in Windham, NY.
