NATIONAL PODIUM

posted by Coach at 9:06 || under General

This week Augusta, Georgia hosted the US Junior National Road Championships.  Kim Geist Coaching athletes were able to show the hard work put in so far this season by coming out with good performances in large fields.

The week was highlighted by Bailey Semian taking a well-deserved 2nd place podium finish in the Junior Women 15-16 time trial, just four seconds off the first place.

Other finishes include:

Victoria Gates - Junior Women 13-14 (field of 28)
8th place - time trial
11th place - road race
14th place - criterium

Bailey Semian - junior women 15-16 (field of 29)
10th place - road race
20th place - criterium (results doesn't tell the story - attacking solo in the closing kilometer takes guts!)
