This week Augusta, Georgia hosted the US Junior National Road Championships. Kim Geist Coaching athletes were able to show the hard work put in so far this season by coming out with good performances in large fields.
The week was highlighted by Bailey Semian taking a well-deserved 2nd place podium finish in the Junior Women 15-16 time trial, just four seconds off the first place.
Other finishes include:
Victoria Gates - Junior Women 13-14 (field of 28)
8th place - time trial
11th place - road race
14th place - criterium
Bailey Semian - junior women 15-16 (field of 29)
10th place - road race

Hans Petter Engelstad qualified for the UCI World Cycling Tour UWCT Final (world master's road championships) this past weekend through a high placing in the Gran Fondo Eddy Merckx in Huy, Belgium. The world's are to be held in September in Stavelot, Belgium.

Kim Geist Coaching athletes had great showings this weekend at the Memorial Day weekend classic, the Tour of Somerville in Somerville, NJ.
Christine Fennessy sprinted to an outstanding 5th place finish in the women's pro race among a star-studded field. Read about it on CyclingNews.com.
