This past weekend marked for many in the northeast and mid-atlantic region the beginning of the road racing season.  It's about time after a hard and lingering winter - even 6 inches of snow couldn't stop the show in Massachusetts.

 

- Kim Geist Coaching athletes Victoria Gates placed 2nd among 14 competitors in the Women Intro/Cat 4 Women's individual time trial at the Boston Beanpot 2.0 event.  She also brought home her team time trial team later in the day to a respectable time as the only all-women's team to compete.  Oh, and she's 13 years old.  Minor detail.

- Lee Sobotkin raced the clock to a 2nd place finish among Category 4 men in the Route 29 Time Trial in New Jersey
