Good races by Kim Geist Coaching athletes Victoria Gates and Bailey Semian at this past weekend's Cycle-Smart International cyclocross race in Massachusetts. Victoria rode to victory in Sunday's event and made the best of mechanicals on Saturday to finish 9th among about 70 Women 3/4 competitors. Bailey was able to advance through almost half the UCI Elite Women's field both days from the draw of last row start positions. And there were some major traffic jams...

For athletes local to the Allentown, PA area, Kim Geist Coaching will be providing INDOOR GROUP CYCLING CLASSES starting Oct. 30th!!!
The complete details: Where: Steel Fitness Premier, 250 Cetronia Road, Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18104 When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:15-8:45pm Price: $15/adult/session, $10/junior/session OR take 20% off the rest of your season if you attend your first class within the first two weeks ($12/adult/session, $8/junior/session) No gym membership required, fee listed payable at the session - For competitive or recreational cyclists - Follow a periodized, progressive program through in-person instruction - To build fitness for the summer and/or compliment your outdoor winter riding - Bring your own bike, trainer and towel and the rest is provided - Space is limited. First come, first serve per session - Park close and enter the bike room directly through an outside door (very clear on the right side of the building due to floor-to-ceiling windows) This is a beautiful facility and I'm very excited to be able to utilize the facility to bring these classes to cyclists. This past week Kim Geist Coaching athlete Julia Lonchar competed in the Elite National Track Cycling Championships in Los Angeles. She set a personal record in the individual pursuit and gained valuable experience in the scratch and points races. A great first national championship competition!
